     It's been a while since I last posted to my blog.  Just been busy with life.  I am still taking pictures and enjoying it more.  Here are two I took on an early morning on Mustang Island.  Hope you like them.  Promise to try and get more post soon.  I have lots of pictures to share.

While walking down the riverwalk in the evening, this huge mouth was flying around the flowers. I was able to get the front view of the face. They are fast and was happy to see that I was able to get this shot.

I love taking pictures of small creatures. These mouths come every fall for me to enjoy.

This owl called me every night a few months ago, but I just couldn't get a good view of her. So I set up some spot lights and one night when she called I turned on the spotlight and took her picture. She ended up having babies in this old tree, but they were to shy for pictures.

Does anyone know the name of this bird? He is such a awsome looking bird.

A Flower Within a Flower

Took this guys pose at Sea World in San Antonio Texas June 2, 2011. They are such beautiful, colorfull birds.

When visting my loved ones at the cemetary I saw this wonderful old statue. It was so calming and beautiful I had to take its picture. She sits over a grave of a baby girl that died in the 1800's . I hope you see the beauty I saw.

How would you like to run into this guy? I had the opportunity to take his portrait when we went to Florida. Of course I didn't get to close. I used a good zoom lens and steady hands.

You can find beauty in everything, if you look hard enough. The beauty in the flower below almost everyone can see. Can you see why I think this old tree stump has it's own beauty?

The closer you look at things the more you find.
