I did this in black and white to show the contrast created by the clouds. Took this in Yellowstone.

You can find beauty in everything, if you look hard enough. The beauty in the flower below almost everyone can see. Can you see why I think this old tree stump has it's own beauty?

The closer you look at things the more you find.

This is oneof the most colorfull little ducks that hangs around the River Walk. His color makes him stand out among other ducks and is about half the size of the other ducks swiming.

While walking through the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs I glanced up and saw this brave lady rock climing. The 1st picture shows you just how big the rock she is climbing in prespective to her. The 2nd picture is a close up I took with a zoom lens. How would you like to do this? Climbing rocks is something I will probably never do. But then I always say, never say never cause you never know. Sure!!!

There was an old abondoned wearhouse where some individualized choose to express thier art. It was a bit scary to go there, but well worth the experience to see how individuals make art out of junk. I don't know what the symbols mean in these photos and hope not to offend anyone by displaying them in my blog. The place was known as" taggers wearhouse", and no longer exist. It has been taken down.

The Sand Dunes in Colorado with mountain backgroung. This is amazing how the winds of time have delivered all this sand to one place. You really need to see this in person to get the awsomeness.

Have you ever looked at a weed. If you look close enough you can find beauty in even an old dried up weed. Is there a lessen here. Found this beauty in my backyard befoe it got chopped down.

This magnificient guy was looking at me through the bush when I took his picture. While on our trip to Mesa Verde in Colorado we saw many deer, so comforable they came right up to our campsite.

I took this little guys picture while in Yellowstone. Some of you may not have seen him. I love loooking at this little guy because it reminds me of how much I enjoyed being in Yellowstone.

It's cold here tonight and I thought this picture of the open fire we had while camping this fall would warm our thoughts.

I took this shot from my yard. The tree was getting light from a neighbors yard and the setting sun. I hope you like it.

Last month we spent 5 days in the Mountains in Colorado. This was taken right next to where we camped for the 5 days. It was so peacefull. The camp place is called Clear Creek Resivor Campgrounds. We plan to go back again to do some serious fishing.

Sunsets are never the same here in Colorado. Each one if different and wonderful!

This birthday cake photo was taken last year at my grandaughters bithday party. I loved the rich light I got from the candels.

I was looking through some Yellowstone pictures and thought I'd share this one.

About five years ago we were pleased to see a pair of these beautifull birds hanging around the yard. We started feeding them and each year we saw a few more. Just two weeks ago I counted 35 sitting in tree near the house.

I was walking at the cemetary and had to take this picture.

This is my new addition to the family. She has stollen our hearts. Isn't she a beauty?

I tried to make this portrait into somethg dreamy. I took it the portrait outdoorsw, but there was alot of background clutter, so I used photswhop and the couple is happy with the result. By the way the lovig couple is my nephew and his bride.
